Where We Started

Established in 1985, the Park Foundation acts to support the City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department in promoting, improving and creating parks. With nearly four decades of dedication, our impact speaks for itself. From improving trails and adding inclusive amenities to hosting community events that spark joy, the La Porte City Park Foundation is proud to be a driving force behind what makes La Porte a wonderful place to live.
